Spooky Easy Halloween Charcuterie Spider Web Board

Halloween Charcuterie Spider Web Board - featured image

A festive, no-bake Halloween treat featuring a chocolate spider web design on pretzel sticks, served with fresh fruit and dried cranberries for a sweet and salty snack.

Ingredients

  • White chocolate chips
  • Dark chocolate chips (60% cocoa)
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Dried cranberries
  • Apple slices (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • Mini pretzel bites
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Black licorice strings (optional)
  • Candy eyes (optional)
  • Coconut oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Line a large plate or charcuterie board with parchment paper. Arrange apple slices, dried cranberries, and mini pretzel bites on the board. Set aside pretzel sticks.
  2. Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Do not overheat.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips in a separate microwave-safe bowl using the same method. If too thick, stir in a tiny teaspoon of coconut oil.
  4. Dip one end of each pretzel stick into the white chocolate. Lay them across the plate in a radial pattern (like spokes of a wheel). Let set for a few minutes until tacky.
  5. Drizzle dark chocolate over the center of the white chocolate pretzels. Use a toothpick to drag the dark chocolate from the center outward along the pretzel lines, then drag in a circular motion to create concentric circles.
  6. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle sea salt flakes over the web. Add candy eyes to chocolate drops if desired. Arrange fruit and snacks around the web.
  7. Let the board sit at room temperature for 10 minutes or in the fridge for 5 minutes to set the chocolate completely.

Notes

Ensure all bowls and utensils are completely dry to prevent chocolate from seizing. Use high-quality chocolate chips for the smoothest melt. If making ahead, store the chocolate web in the fridge and add fresh fruit just before serving. For a gluten-free option, swap pretzels for gluten-free sticks or rice cakes.
