A simple and nourishing morning detox tonic made with Himalayan pink salt and filtered water, designed to gently reset and hydrate your body.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Himalayan pink salt (fine or coarse)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water for sole concentrate
  • Additional filtered water for diluting before drinking
  • Optional: fresh lemon juice (a splash)

Instructions

  1. In a glass jar, add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of Himalayan pink salt.
  2. Pour in 1 cup (240 ml) of filtered water.
  3. Stir gently with a non-metal spoon until most of the salt dissolves. Some salt may remain at the bottom.
  4. Cover the jar loosely with a lid or cloth and let it sit at room temperature for at least 12 hours or overnight.
  5. When ready to drink, mix 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the pink salt sole concentrate with 8 ounces (240 ml) of filtered water. Stir well.
  6. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a splash of raw apple cider vinegar if desired.
  7. Sip slowly, ideally on an empty stomach in the morning.

Notes

Use glass containers to avoid off-flavors. Let the sole rest overnight for best mineral infusion. Store concentrate in the fridge up to one month. Dilute fresh before drinking. Start with half a teaspoon of concentrate if new to the tonic. Avoid hot water when mixing.
