A fun and festive Halloween charcuterie board that combines sweet candy corn with savory cheeses, meats, and crunchy snacks. No cooking required, just assembly for a visually stunning and delicious party spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sharp white cheddar cheese block, cubed or sliced
  • 6 oz Genoa salami or pepperoni, folded into ribbons or rounds
  • 1 cup mini pretzel twists or sticks
  • ½ cup mixed olives (green or black, pitted)
  • 1 cup candy corn (classic Brach’s or preferred brand)
  • ½ cup chocolate-covered almonds (dark chocolate preferred)
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup caramel popcorn (optional)
  • 4 oz brie cheese, at room temperature
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt dip (plain or vanilla)
  • 1 Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apple, sliced (tossed in lemon juice)
  • ¼ cup roasted and salted pumpkin seeds
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Choose a clean, dry large wooden board or platter (at least 12×16 inches). If using wood, rub with mineral oil for shine.
  2. Place small bowls for olives, Greek yogurt dip, and any loose candy corn at the edges or corners of the board.
  3. Place the brie wheel in the center or slightly off-center. Arrange cheddar cubes in a small pile nearby, leaving space for crackers and fruit.
  4. Fold salami slices in half, then in half again to create ribbons. Place in a small cluster. For pepperoni, layer rounds in a stack or fan them out.
  5. Arrange crackers and pretzels in small stacks or fans around the cheese, keeping a natural, slightly chaotic look.
  6. Sprinkle candy corn in small clusters around the board, spreading it out so every bite can include a piece if desired.
  7. Place chocolate-covered almonds, dried cranberries, and caramel popcorn in small piles, mixing with savory items for visual interest.
  8. Fan out apple slices near the brie. Sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  9. Tuck rosemary sprigs around the board for garnish. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds over the whole board for texture and color.
  10. Step back and fill any empty spots with extra pretzels or candy corn. Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 hours. Let come to room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Take brie and cheddar out of fridge 30 minutes before assembling for best texture. Keep candy corn away from wet dips to avoid stickiness. For a kid-friendly version, swap salami for turkey slices and use milder cheese. Leftovers can be stored separately: candy corn in its bag, cheese wrapped in wax paper, crackers in a sealed container for up to 3 days. Apple slices should be eaten within a day.
