These pinwheel roll-ups combine a velvety cream cheese spread with crisp veggies and tender turkey wrapped in soft flour tortillas, making a perfect, quick, and colorful party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) Greek yogurt, plain
  • 8 oz (225 g) cooked turkey breast deli slices, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach leaves, washed and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded carrot
  • 1/2 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or chives)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Add garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice if using. Whisk until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Wash and dry spinach leaves. Thinly slice green bell pepper and shred carrot. Chop herbs if using.
  3. Lay one flour tortilla flat on a cutting board. Spread 3-4 tablespoons of the creamy mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edges.
  4. Layer 2 oz (55 g) sliced turkey breast evenly over the spread.
  5. Top with spinach leaves, shredded carrot, sliced bell pepper, and herbs if using.
  6. Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape, compressing gently to avoid air pockets.
  7. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes up to 2 hours to firm up.
  8. Unwrap and slice into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pinwheels using a sharp serrated knife.
  9. Arrange pinwheels on a platter and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before mixing for smooth spreading. Use a serrated knife to slice pinwheels cleanly. Chill roll-ups for at least 30 minutes before slicing to prevent falling apart. Substitute almond flour tortillas and dairy-free cream cheese for low-carb and dairy-free versions. Avoid corn tortillas as they may crack when rolling.
