  • 1/2 cup sour cream (4 fl oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz / 115g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out for about 30 minutes or microwaving for 20 seconds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until creamy and well combined, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Fold in the shredded chicken gently, ensuring even distribution without overmixing.
  5. Stir in half of the blue cheese crumbles and shredded cheddar cheese, folding carefully to create pockets of melted cheese and tangy surprises.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a prepared 9×9-inch baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining blue cheese crumbles and cheddar cheese on top.
