A quick and easy 5-minute treat featuring crisp apples dipped in warm caramel sauce and topped with festive candy corn. Perfect for parties, school events, or a simple autumn snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4–6 firm apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala)
  • 1 jar (approx. 12-16 oz) high-quality caramel sauce
  • 1 bag candy corn
  • Wax paper or parchment paper
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples thoroughly under cold water and pat them completely dry with a clean towel to ensure the caramel sticks.
  2. Insert a toothpick into the stem end of each apple to use as a handle.
  3. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
  4. Place the caramel sauce in a small bowl and heat it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds until warm and pourable. Stir well.
  5. Hold an apple by the toothpick and dip it into the warm caramel, rotating to coat the sides. Leave the top near the toothpick uncovered.
  6. Let excess caramel drip back into the bowl, then immediately sprinkle candy corn over the wet caramel, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Place the dipped apple on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Repeat with remaining apples, ensuring they do not touch.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the caramel to harden completely before serving.

Notes

Ensure apples are completely dry before dipping, as moisture prevents caramel from sticking. If the caramel hardens in the bowl, microwave for 10-second intervals and stir. For a gluten-free option, verify the candy corn is certified gluten-free. For dairy-free, use dairy-free caramel sauce.
